EVOKE Privacy Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal information EVOKE collects through evoke869.com, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have.

1Who we are

EVOKE is a web and application development company based in St. Kitts and Nevis. We design websites, build custom applications, and develop WordPress plugins and themes. In this policy, “EVOKE”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean EVOKE, and “the Website” means evoke869.com and any pages, forms, and online store features on it.

We act as the data controller for the personal information described here. By using the Website you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Website or submit your details through it.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Website, and we ask that you do not include it in your messages.

3How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Reply to enquiries and prepare quotes or proposals
  • Deliver, support, and invoice the websites, applications, plugins, and themes you commission or buy
  • Process orders, issue downloads and licence keys, and send order and security notices
  • Keep the Website secure, prevent abuse, and fix technical problems
  • Understand how the Website is used so we can improve its content and performance
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We rely on your consent (for example, when you submit a form or accept optional cookies), the need to perform a contract or take steps you request before one, our legitimate interest in running and securing a business, and legal obligations. We send marketing emails only if you have opted in, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe. We do not sell your personal information.

4Cookies and similar technologies

The Website is built on WordPress and uses cookies and similar technologies in three ways:

  • Essential: keep the Website working, remember your cart and checkout in Plugin Haven, protect forms from spam, and save your light or dark theme choice.
  • Analytics and performance: help us see which pages are used and how the Website performs. We use these only where you have agreed, where required.
  • Embedded services: content such as maps, fonts, or videos from third parties may set their own cookies once loaded.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential features, such as the cart, may stop working if you do.

5Sharing your information

We share personal information only where needed to run the Website and deliver our services:

  • Service providers that host the Website, deliver email, process payments, provide analytics, or support our store, under terms that limit their use of your data
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where needed
  • Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights, users, or the public
  • A successor business, if EVOKE is merged, sold, or restructured, with notice to you where required

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

6International transfers and retention

Our hosting, email, and payment providers may process data on servers outside St. Kitts and Nevis. Where that happens, we choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards to personal information.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:

7Security

We protect personal information with HTTPS encryption, access controls, regular software updates, and limits on who can see client and order data. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

8Your rights and choices

Under the Data Protection Act, 2013 of St. Kitts and Nevis, and any other law that applies to you, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it
  • Stop or restrict how we use it, including direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent you have given, at any time, without affecting earlier use
